I call them “urban objects”. They make the city. They are universal. They are never the same. They surround any human dwelling and fill in the spaces between more distinct architectural features. When you travel, or just walk by foot, look around carefully and you’ll notice how the objects are playing with us, humans: changing shapes and colours, following their own interior developments yet remaining basically the same. Don’t judge by the appearance. Every particular instance, disguised by local styling, fits into a category: a door, a window, a trash can or a mail box. Travel, walk, look around as much as you possibly can, and always carry along your camera. Be ready to take it out and to shoot.
Then, if you are lucky, you can share them with someone who has an interest in urban objects collected.
